Sfântul Martin

November 10th, 2023 Andrada Enache

Sfântul Martin este sărbătorit de către țările germanice în data de 11 noiembrie. Cu această ocazie, profesorii catedrei de limba germană a Școlii Gimnaziale ”Marin Preda” Pitești au organizat ”Sărbătoarea Lampioanelor”.
Evenimentul a fost inspirat din Legenda Sfântului Martin, în care se spune că, pe vremea, când acesta era soldat, a întâlnit un om sărman care îngheța de frig. Martin a luat sabia, și-a despicat mantia și i-a dăruit jumătate sărmanului cerșetor.
În noaptea în care a urmat, a avut un vis, în care Isus avea chipul omului sărac și era îmbrăcat cu jumătate din mantia sa.
Sărbătoarea din 11 noiembrie este una a dăruirii, în care copiii transmit bucuria de a împărți cu aproapele lor.
